event notifications, voting rights in AAU elections, club practice insurance, to
host sanctioned AAU events and for participation in Team Awards at any
sanctioned competition. There are three levels of Club Memberships available.
These fees vary according to which level best fits your club’s needs. To learn
more about these three levels and print out a Club Membership form go to
www.aausports.org. Beginning in 2008 all registrations must be accomplished

ATHLETE & COACH REGISTRATION
Please fill out GA AAU

a complete birth date. Also please register only one level per sheet. If you

AAU does not have any
clubs. They only have club members. These clubs join
AAU in order to participate in AAU sanctioned events and to adequately
insure their athletes, coaches and practice facilities. Each club sets
its own policies regarding tryout,
practice, fees, goals, etc. Some clubs host open
tryouts, others are local teams that are hand picked by their local
recreation groups, and some may not choose to have tryouts at all. AAU
does not govern these clubs except when they are participating in AAU
sanctioned events. Therefore, when looking for a club you
should ask questions that
would allow you to select a club that
meets your own needs and expectations. |
